Happy Fall!

Fall is about many things. First of all, fall is about fun in the leaves. The parks are a little less crowded which means more space for exploring. We often meet up with our friend Isaac to play (not to be confused with our Isaac). The photo shoot I had in mind didn't really work out too well because Carter likes to charge the camera right when I take a picture, but we did get a few good ones.

Fall is also about getting ready for the colder days ahead. Carter is very handy around the house. He is a step stool climber extraordinaire. Here he is helping dad.
Sometimes it gets a little too warm in the house with the radiators, so you have to do what you have to do to stay cool.
Fall is about Halloween. We were all set to dress him up as an oil baron from the Middle East thanks to an outfit Aunt Sophie bought for him. However, we felt it was in poor taste to dress him up like that the day after the Yemen bomb scare. It's amazing how easily the outfit transformed into a ghost.

Finally, fall is about football. So here Carter is practicing to be a referee, because according to his dad, all the current refs are just no good!

He is so stinkin' cute! I especially enjoyed the lil' whistle blower and handy manny.

We are so sad that we are going to miss you guys at Thanksgiving.

How cute. You need to get him a kazoo. It sounded like he was really buzzing that whistle. Just two more weeks until Thanksgiving!

Sounds like he is also taking care of a sick cow. But I like the idea of a ref in the family. He is my favorite ghost. Granny S
