This was our first Thanksgiving that we didn't go anywhere. That meant that it was up to me to prepare my first Thanksgiving feast, and I did what every good New York woman does, I ordered in!
My mom and Lisa surprised us by coming in to spend the weekend with us, so we decided to hit up the parade. It was nice because we found a place where most of the floats were lined up and started the parade route. We only stayed for a little while, but by the time we got home and turned on the TV, we saw the same floats at the end. Carter enjoyed some of it, but was most interested in seeing Barney (sigh . . .)
