Carter is 3! Sometimes he needs help remembering this, but it is official. He is as crazy as ever. He likes to be where ever the action is and can't stand it if his little brother is doing something without him. For example, when I put Jonah in the sink to play while I cleaned the kitchen, Carter had to join in, even if it wasn't quite the right size. You can tell Jonah just tolerates Carter.
We had a fun birthday celebration for his. We invited his Snell cousins in for a day of fun at the water terrace and Shake Shack. We came home for cupcakes and of course, Carter needed 3 of them because he is 3.
It was the birthday of Lightening McQueen, all told, he got 4 of them. He was also thrilled to get a race track and a stomp rocket. When we asked him what his favorite part of his birthday was he said "My cousins come to my house!" It's nice to see that he already has his priorities right. It was truly a miracle because we got Abe and Carter to smile in the same picture (even if the babies weren't going for it).
For Carter's 2nd birthday we had to keep relighting the candles because he like blowing them out so much, but this year we got smart.
It's been 3 year years of an amazing roller coaster. I can't believe this is just the beginning!
